July to September is the monsoon season. Rain showers occur often. That makes it difficult to take part in adventure activities. Also, rafting becomes impossible due to the rising water levels of the holy river Ganga.
October to March has pleasant weather. It is the best time to enjoy the town’s beauty, visit temples, take part in adventure activities, or go rafting.Winter is between December and February. The temperature drops to 6-8 degrees centigrade. We recommend students coming to our yoga ashram during these months to bring warm clothes.
